Known for its leafy conservatory, Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings in Clerkenwell is a great London brunch spot. From the original artworks adorning the walls to the floral furniture, it’s one of the most Instagrammed restaurants in London.

5. Brasserie of Light

17. Jones Family Kitchen

Tucked away in the courtyard of Eccleston Yards between Belgravia and Victoria you’ll find Jones Family Kitchen. A sister restaurant of the popular Jones Family Project in Shoreditch, it has a lovely terrace. Eccleston Yards is an attractive destination in its own right, with several colourful wall murals and lots of plants dotted around.

Try the regularly changing cocktail list and enjoy the dry-aged steaks are from The Ginger Pig. It’s definitely one of the best London restaurants in terms of service and value for money.

18. The Landmark London

A great place for afternoon tea in Marylebone, the Landmark London has a show stopping glass atrium. Its Winter Garden restaurant is eight floors high and has some impressive palm trees.

The hotel opened in 1899 and is known for its elegant decor and impeccable service.

19. Palm Vaults

This casual cafe in Hackney has some very healthy food on the menu. They do a great line in colourful lattes too.

The pink exterior is sure to brighten your day, while the interior has a multitude of hanging plants. Their take away coffee cups are very photogenic.

Possibly the most Instagrammable place in London, Peggy Porschen is known for its pink facade. Located on stylish Elizabeth Street in Belgravia, it’s as famous for its cakes as it’s decor.

The boutique exterior has regularly changing displays and on Valentine’s Day and at Christmas time it’s particularly photogenic. There are a couple of seats outside which are in high demand.

A recently opened branch is bringing “a whole new world of prettiness” to the Kings Road.

21. Sketch London

Famous for its egg shaped toilets and stylish interiors, Sketch London is located in an elegant 18th century townhouse. One of the best restaurants in Mayfair, Sketch is the brainchild of Mourad Mazouz and Pierre Gagnaire.

Yet it’s not just the loos that are photoworthy here, The Gallery designed by artist David Shrigley is equally impressive. We recommend having afternoon tea at Sketch, as it’s beautifully presented and tastes great too.

22. Sky Garden

There are two restaurants and three bars located within the Sky Garden. This is the highest public garden in Europe, and spread over three floors.

It’s best to book as there is limited walk-in availability. Once inside, admire the spectacular views of the City and the Thames.

23. Saint Aymes

The brainchild of sisters Lois and Michela Wilson, Saint Aymes is nestled in the heart of London’s Connaught Village. Bedecked with flowers throughout, it’s particularly known for its handmade chocolate creations, handpainted with 23ct gold.

If you’re feeling flush, the 24 carat gold unicorn sundae is the perfect accompaniment. Upstairs is light and airy whilst downstairs there’s a stylish tiled floor and more floral walls.

Situated in the heart of Covent Garden, Sushisamba has a spacious terrace overlooking the piazza. Inside, there’s an abundance of plants hanging from the ceiling of the Grade II listed building.

The sushi is a tantalizing mix of Brazilian, Japanese and Peruvian and the cocktails are excellent too.

With a fantastic location on the market square in Covent Garden, VyTA is a great place for authentic Italian food. The design of this all day eatery is inspired by Italy in the 1960s. 

Gold accents combine with green and turquoise walls and a polychrome marble floor to great effect. The large piazza terrace and two first floor terraces are the perfect place for a cocktail.

The food is as impressive as the decor, with Italian classics such as panzanella e burrata and vitello tonnato. There’s a special pre-theatre menu, and DJ nights from Thursday to Saturday.

Part of the Big Mamma restaurant group, Jacuzzi is a stunning Kensington eatery spread over 4 floors. Although service is not particularly efficient, the glitzy decor compensates for it.

Try the home-made spaghetti alla chitarra with creamy truffle sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano foam and fresh black truffle. It’s served in an Instafriendly pecorino wheel.
