What could be more fun than dining in one of the London igloo restaurants? Although you might associate igloos with the Winter months, these quirky London dining spots work just as well in Summertime. For a relaxing meal, dining in a London igloo is ideal. You can enjoy your dinner away from the crowds, in the comfort of your very own bubble.
London Igloo Restaurants
There are quite a few igloos in London, and they’re a popular choice for celebrating special events with friends or family. As these glass igloos are in high demand, it’s essential to book in advance.
You’ll usually be limited to a two hour booking slot in each London igloo restaurant, and there will generally be a minimum spend.
1. Aviary Rooftop Igloos
A stylish City of London rooftop restaurant, Aviary Rooftop Bar and Terrace has panoramic views of the City of London and Shoreditch. Located inside The Montcalm Royal London House, a five star hotel on Finsbury Square, this is a popular spot for cocktails. There are 4 igloos on the 9th Floor Palm Terrace.
Aviary specialize in modern British food, with dishes cooked in a coal-fired oven. The dress code is smart casual, so no trainers, hoodies or baseball caps.
There are two lounge-style igloos with a low table, and two dining igloos. Each one currently accommodates a maximum of 6 people.
Booking the Aviary Igloos
You must pre-book for dinner in an igloo and a minimum spend applies. This is currently £200 for groups of 2 to 3 or £50 per person for groups of four or more.
The first booking is at 11am and the last recommended booking is at 8 pm, as the terrace closes at 10pm. You can book an Aviary terrace igloo on their website.

Each igloo has individual music speakers, allowing you to enjoy the laid back music tracks playing.
Dining on the Thames
There’s a pedestrianized walkway in front of the Coppa Club igloos, so there’s no noise from road traffic. The pods are set on a raised dias, so you’re away from passers-by.
The food at Coppa Club is simple yet beautifully presented on colourful ceramic plates. The European menu features classics such as sourdough pizzas, together with healthy salads.
This is one of the best options for lunch or dinner at Tower Hill. I celebrated a birthday here and the staff were very friendly.
