Salon Privé 2023 – London Classic Car Show

Now in its 18th year, Salon Privé has gone from strength to strength. The most prestigious UK motor show, Salon Privé now has two UK events: Salon Privé London from 20-22 April and Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace from 30 August to 2 September.

Salon Privé 2023 Automotive Debuts

Considered to be one of the top motoring events in the world, this is a unique opportunity to see the most prestigious supercars up close. This year, Salon Privé brings its prestigious automotive event to the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London.

Many automotive debuts are being presented at Salon Privé 2023. Several of these are World, European and UK model premieres.

Alfa Romeo 12C Prototipo – the long-lost racing prototype from 1941 is a thing of beauty.

Aston Martin DBX707 – the most powerful SUV in the world makes its UK debut.

Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport – inspired by racing driver Louis Chiron, this customer project offers a number of bespoke options. It’s one of the most expensive cars in the world.

Charge Cars Electric Mustang – a zero-emissions version of the iconic Ford Mustang, which promises 536bhp and a 0-62mph time of only 3.9 seconds.

Ferrari 296 GTB – featuring an internal combustion engine integrated with a single electric motor, this new Ferrari model delivers 818bhp, and a 0-62mph time of just 2.9 seconds.

Genesis GV60 – this all electric SUV makes its European debut at Salon Privé London.

Healey by Caton – the renaissance of the famous Austin Healey 100, respecting the original styling.

Morgan Motor Company Super 3 – a three-wheeler reimagined for the modern age, with a Ford 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine.

Prodrive Hunter – the first all-terrain hypercar in the world, developed by British company Prodrive. The Hunter has a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine which delivers more than 600bhp.

Range Rover SV – with a new five-seat LWB configuration, this high-performance SUV offers a wide range of personalization options.

Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost – the top of the range Rolls-Royce, with a 6.75-litre V12 engine that delivers 600 bhp.

Tushek TS900 Apex – the lightest hybrid hypercar in the world, this Slovenian car has a patented electric drive system.

Salon Privé London Highlights

Together with the new-model unveilings, the show also features a handpicked selection of other iconic cars from the UK and abroad.

Ecurie Ecosse LM-C – Scotland’s national racing team have created a new car based on their original racing cars that won the Le Mans 24 hour race twice. Engine capacity is now 4.2 litres and power is 300bhp. The interior features hand-crafted bucket seats and Tag Heuer ‘Master Time’ dashboard stopwatches.

PAL-V – a unique flying car by Dutch brand PAL-V. Already street legal, the prototype is currently undergoing flying tests.

Sutton VIP-Class London Taxi – your own private taxi for proponents of stealth wealth, with leather interiors, a 20” media screen, drinks cooler, electronically-reclining heated rear seats with footrests and a fibre-optic starlight roof.

Concours de Vente

For the first time at the show, there will be the opportunity to buy all the classic cars on display at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. That’s over 60 vintage vehicles, including a 1934 Bentley Barnato Hassan and a 2006 Porsche Carrera GT.

Luxury Brands

In addition to the cars on display, there are also a number of stands showcasing luxury brands such as Boodles, Champagne Pommery, luxury watch brand Roger Dubuis and Penhaligon’s.

There are also a number of helicopter and jet charter companies present, as well as motorbike companies and yacht manufacturers.

Practical Information

The 2022 Salon Privé London schedule is as follows:

  • 21 April – Opening Day
  • 22 April – Ladies Day by Boodles
  • 23 April – Closing Day

Table service is in place for pre-booked hospitality. There’s also a coffee kiosk and Dining Village for those who haven’t pre-booked food and beverages, but be prepared for a long queue! Among the options on offer are food from Gymkhana, Brigadiers, BAO, The George and The Cadogan Arms, as well as The Pommery Bar.

Salon Privé 2022 supports the work of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. The event has previously raised over £1 million for this worthy cause.

The 2022 event will also support the Salon Privé DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, as well as Veloce, a charity working with Hope for Tomorrow mobile cancer units and the Halow Project, creating opportunities for young people aged 16+ with learning disabilities.

Salon Privé Blenheim Palace

Salon Privé Blenheim Palace takes place from 31 August 2022 to 4 September 2022. The Concours d’Elégance takes place on the first two days, followed by Ladies Day presented by Boodles, the Club Trophy presented by Lockton and Classic & Supercar.

Blenheim Palace is located 8 miles north west of Oxford in the picturesque village of Woodstock.
