The 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost
The Silver Ghost of 1908 was considered by Autocar to be ‘The Best Car in the World’. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars introduced the Ghost in 2009.
It became the most successful Rolls-Royce model ever, appealing to a broad age range. In fact, the average owner age is now just 43. Rolls-Royce themselves are one of the most well-known British car brands.

Having made its worldwide debut at Salon Prive in Blenheim Palace, the Rolls-Royce Ghost has a world first planar system. This includes a Flagbearer system using cameras to anticipate road surface changes, Satellite Aided Transmission and an Upper Wishbone Damper unit for an effortless ride.
With a rigid aluminium spaceframe architecture, the new Ghost wheels turn in the opposite direction up to 40 k/ph for added manoeuvrability. From then on, they then turn in line, up to the restricted speed of 155 m/ph. This improves the driving experience or Magic Carpet Ride as Rolls-Royce dub it.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Interior
Ten per cent larger than previous models, the new Rolls-Royce Ghost boasts 500 liters of free space. The trunk will fit 4 golf club bags.
A hand-crafted analogue clock keeps perfect time, while the fascia’s matte open-pore veneer is a thing of subtle beauty. The illuminated fascia features the Ghost nameplate and over 850 “stars”, created using LED lights.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Design Features
The iconic Spirit of Ecstasy is positioned on the car bonnet rather than the grille, for the first time in Rolls-Royce history. Classic Rolls-Royce features like the umbrella stored in the rear door are still present.
You can customize the features with the Bespoke Collective service. Whether you’d like engraved treadplates, an integrated champagne cooler or a custom paint colour, the options are almost limitless.

There’s a high tech rear passenger entertainment system and 1,300-watt Bespoke Audio System with 18 speakers. The new Ghost has enhanced safety features including collision warning, lane-change and lane-departure warnings and vision assist.
New Ghost Extended
Benefiting from 17 centimetres of extra leg room compared to the classic Ghost, the new Ghost Extended has a custom-built aluminium chassis. Providing enhanced rear seating space, the Ghost Extended doesn’t compromise on driving experience.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Engine
The 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost boasts a next generation twin turbocharged 6.75 litre V12. It delivers 571PS and 850nm and reaches 60 mph in around 4.6 seconds. Maximum speed is capped at 155 mph.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Price
The price of the Rolls-Royce Ghost starts at $332,500 and delivery started in early 2021. Of course, customization options can push that amount significantly higher.
The previous Rolls-Royce Ghost model had a popular special edition – the Rolls-Royce Ghost Black Badge. It’s possible that the new Rolls-Royce Ghost model will also offer Black Badge customization.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Warranty
As with other Rolls-Royce models, the Ghost benefits from a 4 year warranty with unlimited mileage.
Founder Henry Royce’s motto was “Strive for perfection in everything you do. Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, design it”. The new Rolls-Royce Ghost certainly seems to live up to that philosophy.
