If you’re looking for a luxurious way to travel from London to Mexico City, look no further than Aeromexico Business Class! We recently had the chance to experience their Premier Clase service, which is Aeromexico’s business class offering. Read our in-depth review to find out what it’s like.

Aeromexico Business Class Review

In this Aeromexico business class review, we’ll discuss the Clase Premier cabins on long haul flights and the overall travel experience. What’s handy is that Aeromexico has daily non-stop flights from London Heathrow Terminal 3 to Mexico City. The flight time is less than 12 hours.

This was our first time flying with Aeromexico and as a whole, we were very impressed. Here are our thoughts on the flight experience in Aeromexico Business Class.

Pre-Flight Experience in Aeromexico Business Class

When you fly business class with Aeromexico from Heathrow, you have access to exclusive check-in and boarding lines as well as fast-track through security. This reduces your queueing time, although Heathrow Airport still needs to increase the number of staff working on security at peak times.

Aeromexico business class passengers also have access to priority baggage claim, which is certainly advantageous in these challenging travel times! You can also make unlimited changes to your Aeromexico flight booking at no cost.

Another advantage of Aeromexico business class is that you can check two bags and store any carry-on baggage in a private compartment. If you wish, the flight attendants will also store your jacket on a hanger in a wardrobe for the duration of the flight and return it to you crease-free at the end. Upon arrival, you will have priority deplaning.

Aeromexico Premier Clase Cabins

Outbound flights from London Heathrow to Mexico City are on board the 787 Dreamliner, one of the most modern aircraft in the world.

The 787 Dreamliner emits 25% fewer carbon emissions and gives a very smooth flight. These new planes have been designed to minimize the effects of jet lag, to increase cabin humidity and reduce noise. They boast predictive anti-turbulence technology and dynamic LED lighting.

As for the Premier Clase cabins, all the surfaces are very clean and you can tell that hygiene is taken seriously by the crew.

Business Class Seats

Aeromexico’s long-haul business class seats are some of the most comfortable and spacious in the sky. The airline’s Business Class cabin is outfitted with 36 lie-flat seats that recline into a fully flat position.

The Aeromexico Business Class seats are 78 inches long and 20 inches wide, well-padded and wide, with a leg rest. The seat pitch is a roomy 60 inches. I had a window seat on the outbound flight, while Paul had one of the middle seats. Thanks to the herringbone cabin layout, each seat has direct aisle access, making it easy to get up when necessary.

Aeromexico also provides business class passengers with cosy blankets and a comfortable pillow, as well as noise-cancelling headphones to help them block out any unwanted noise.

The seat controls are easy to operate on the whole, although the adjustable height arm rest takes some jiggling to lower up and down! There’s a headphone jack, phone charger socket and plenty of storage.

If you need to work, you can set up your laptop on the pull-out tray and get some work done. There is normally complimentary in-flight WiFi on the Aeromexico London to Mexico route, which wasn’t in operation on our journey. It didn’t bother us as we had an excellent night’s sleep on this long-haul flight.

Meal Service

Aeromexico’s long-haul business class cabin features gourmet food and wine selections. The airline works with leading chefs to create unique dishes that are not only delicious, but also visually appealing.

Before take off, you can enjoy a glass of Champagne, orange juice or water. Aeromexico’s business class passengers are treated to two appetizers, a main course and desserts, as well as a selection of fine wines and spirits. You’ll also enjoy a tasty breakfast the next morning.

The food selection can be somewhat reduced if you’re in the last row, so try to book early to get one of the first three rows if you can. Don’t worry though, specific meal requirements such as diabetic and gluten free are accommodated with at least 48 hours notice prior to take-off.

A self-service bar area with a selection of snacks, sandwiches, juices and hot beverages is a nice touch. You can also ask the cabin crew if you’d like water brought directly to your seat.

Amenity Kits

On Aeromexico long-haul flights, business class passengers receive an amenity kit by famous Italian brand Etro, designed exclusively for the airline. It includes an eye mask, earplugs, socks, slippers, comb, nourishing lip balm and body lotion.

There’s also a toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash. In addition, the kit comes with a pen and Field Notes pad, so that travelers can keep track of their thoughts and impressions during their trip.

Flight Entertainment

The Aeromexico entertainment system offers a wide variety of movies, TV shows, and music. These are mostly in English although there are a few Spanish language options too.

Each seat in business class has its own personal entertainment system, complete with an 18 inch screen and noise-cancelling headphones. You can operate the entertainment controls by touch screen or by the hand held control unit. I found the latter tricky to work, so used the touch screen controls instead.

If you need to contact a travel companion in business class without disturbing other passengers, you can use the handy chat function on the screen.

Aeromexico Lounge

There are actually four Aeromexico Salon Premiers lounges in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Merida.

We visited the Aeromexico Salon Premier lounge in Mexico City airport This is the perfect place to relax before your flight. The business class lounge has comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and a good food and drink selection at the bar and buffet.

Lounge access also provides space in which to work and have meetings.

In Conclusion: Aeromexico Business Class Review

We would highly recommend Aeromexico Business Class. It offers a great flying experience, especially if you’re flying from London Heathrow to Mexico City.

The seats are comfortable and there is abundant legroom. You’ll get a great night’s sleep and wake up feeling refreshed and ready to explore the city.

The food and drinks are also excellent, and the staff are attentive and helpful. The in-flight entertainment system has a good selection of movies and TV shows to choose from.

Overall, Aeromexico Business Class offers a very enjoyable flying experience. We think that for long haul flights, Aeromexico Club Premier is the best option to fly from Mexico City from London. We also flew with Aeromexico in business class from Mexico City to Los Cabos and then from La Paz to Mexico City, which was quick and easy.
