One of our favourite segments involves boarding specially designed motion simulators with VR headsets, placing you directly in the story as protagonists. The multi-sensory VR experience features a desperate boat escape through a devastated London via the Thames River. Participants must evade deadly heat rays while enormous 300-foot Martian Fighting Machines attack iconic landmarks including Westminster and Big Ben.
This dramatic scene unfolds to the soundtrack of Jeff Wayne’s iconic music, including Paul Vigrass’ and Garry Osborne’s international hit “Forever Autumn.” The experience continues as you feel simulated wind and waves while venturing out to sea, witnessing the climactic naval confrontation between the Martian invaders and HMS Thunder Child.
