3. Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa
This award winning five star Hampshire hotel is set in 130 acres on the edge of the New Forest National Park. Chewton Glen is known for its 14 luxurious tree house suites, suspended 35 feet above the ground.
The building dates from the early 18th century and has 72 rooms and suites, some with private hot tubs. Chewton Glen’s spa was the first of its kind when it opened in 1990. 6. New Park Manor Hotel
A former royal hunting lodge dating from the 17th century, New Park Manor Hotel is located in Brockenhurst village. Originally the home of Sir George Cary, the house was subsequently occupied by King Charles II’s mistress Nell Gwynn.

The Armada Restaurant has stunning wood panelling and is an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion. We had a lovely birthday meal here. The adjacent private dining room has intricate decor inspired by the Alhambra in Andalucia, Spain.
The spacious lounge bar would benefit from a style refresh but there’s ample outdoor seating overlooking the ornamental fountains. Rhinefield House health suite includes a Technogym, two treatment rooms, sauna and steam room, 9m indoor splash pool and separate outdoor pool.

The famous Pig hotel group has gone from strength to strength. This is the original Pig, located in an old shooting lodge on the outskirts of Brockenhurst.

There’s a beautiful greenhouse restaurant serving a 25 mile menu. All produce on that menu is made within 25 miles of The Pig. The Wood-Oven terrace specializes in smoky flatbreads and is a great drop-in dining spot on a sunny day.
