A recently published report by LTI – Luxury Travel Intelligence (*) reveals which luxury hotel brands are at the top of their game. Over the past 12 months, they have assessed each upscale hotel brand according to a rigorously defined algorithm.
The focus is on measuring the values and performance of the luxury hotel sector. 130 touch points each have their own weighted score value, giving a total maximum score of 4663.
These touch points cover overall brand performance of these expensive hotel chains as opposed to the performance of individual properties. A brand’s ability to offer unique travel experiences, together with the best service and a sense of place are all important elements of this assessment. Ongoing investment is another major factor, especially for new properties or renovation projects.
